2. Acquisition and storage of person-related data as well as type and purpose of the use of the data
a) When visiting the webpage
When visiting our web page www.steelwind-nordenham.de, the browser used on your terminal will send information automatically to the server of our web site. This information will be stored temporarily in a so-called log file. The following information will in this case be acquired without your help and will be stored until it is deleted:
- IP address
- Date and time of the request
- Time zone difference to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)
- Name and URL of the called-up file
- Access status/HTTP status code
- The data volume transferred in each case

The legal basis for data processing is art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our justified interest is based on the purposes for data acquisition listed above. In no cases do we use the acquired data for the purpose of coming to conclusions about your person.
In addition, we use cookies, video plug-ins as well as Google Maps API when you visit our web site. Detailed explanations can be found under items 4, 5 and 6 of this data privacy statement.
b) When using our contact form
In case of requests, we offer the opportunity to establish a contact through a form provided on the website. In this case, the information about a valid email address is required to ensure that we know who sent the request to be able to respond. Additional personal information can be provided voluntarily.
Data processing for the establishment of a contact is performed in accordance with art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a GDPR based upon your agreement provided voluntarily.
The person related data acquired by us for the use of the contact form will be deleted after your request has been completed.
3. Transfer of data
A transfer of your personal data to third parties for purposes other than listed in the following does not take place.
We only transfer your personal data to third parties if:
- You explicitly gave your agreement in accordance with art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a GDPR,
- the transfer is required in accordance with art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f GDPR for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims and if no reason exists for the assumption that you have a prevailing interest requiring protection in the non-transfer of your data,
- A legal obligation exists for the transfer in accordance with art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. c GDPR, and if
- this is legally permissible and required in accordance with art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. b GDPR for the processing of contract relationships with you.
4. Cookies
We use cookies on our webpage. Cookies are small files, which are automatically created by your browser and which are stored on your terminal (laptop, tablet, smart phone, etc.) once you visit our webpage. Cookies do not create damages on your terminal, they do not include viruses, Trojans or other malware.
Cookies store information that is created in combination with the specifically used terminal. However, this does not mean that we obtain direct knowledge about your identity.

5. Use of embedded videos via Vimeo plug-ins
We are using the embedding of videos, a.o. by the provider Vimeo. Vimeo is operated by Vimeo, LLC with headquarters in 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011.
We use plug-ins of the provider Vimeo on some of our webpages. If you call up an Internet page of our Internet presence – for example our Mediathek – covered by such a plug-in, then a connection to the Vimeo servers will be established and the plug-in will be presented. This will transfer the information about the Internet pages that you visited to the Vimeo server. If you are logged in as a Vimeo member, then Vimeo will allocate this information to your personal user account. When using the plug-in, for example by clicking on the start button of a video, then this information will also be allocated to your user account. You can prevent this allocation by logging off from your Vimeo user account and delete the respective cookies of Vimeo before using our Internet page.

This site uses Google Maps API from Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

If you call up a page of our Internet presence covered with a Google map, then a connection to the Google servers will be established and the map will be presented. This will transfer the information about the web pages that you visited to the Google server. - in accordance with art. 16 GDPR, to request the immediate correction of incorrect data or the completion data stored by as;
- in accordance with art. 17 GDPR, to request the deletion offer your data stored by us if the processing is not required to execute the right of freedom of expression and information, for the fulfillment of a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or for the assertion, execution or defense of legal claims;
- in accordance with art. 18 GDPR, to request the restriction of the possessing of your person related data as far as the correctness of the data is contested by you, the processing is illegal if you decline the deletion of the data and we do no longer need the data, however, if you need the data to assert, exercise or defend legal claims or if you have filed an objection against the processing in accordance with art. 21 GDPR;
- in accordance with art. 20 GDPR, receive your person-related data, which you have provided to us, in a structured, established and machine-readable format or to request the transfer to a different responsible person;
- in accordance with art. 7 para 3 GDPR, to cancel the agreement once provided by you to us. This results in the fact that we cannot continue the data processing, which was based on this agreement, for the future and
- in accordance with art. 77 GDPR, to complain at a regulating authority. Normally, you can contact the regulating authority of your residence or work place or contact our office.
8. Right of objection
If your person-related data are processed based on justified interests in accordance with art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f GDPR, then you have the right – as per art. 21 GDPR – to object against the processing of your person-related data if special reasons exist that are based on your special situation or if your objection is aimed at advertising. In the latter case, you have a general right of objection, which will be implemented by us without a special situation.
